Pursuant to Title 6, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) Chapter III, Air Resources Subchapter A Prevention and Control of Air Contamination and Air Pollution Part 243, Rule NOx Ozone Season Trading Program Group 3, Part 244, Rule NOx Annual Trading Program and Part 245, Transport Rule SO2 Group 1 Trading Program
A distribution of allowances under the Cross-State Air Pollution Rule was made into the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Technology (EERET) account, which is managed by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). Pursuant to the regulation, NYSERDA is required to make all the allowances in the EERET account available for sale on the open market.
NYSERDA intends to sell the following allowances via Evolution Markets Inc. (Evolution):
