Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 2400 McClelland Street

November 18, 2024- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman found at 2400 McClelland Street about 9:45 p.m. on Sunday (November 17).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. LaFour and Detective A. Hernandez reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a report of an unresponsive woman found in the street at the above address. Houston Fire Department paramedics informed officers the female had suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased.

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s) descriptions.
