"The call to action to restore peace and stability in the eastern and Horn of Africa has never been a more dire need than it is today. It is of utmost importance that as peace actors, we reinforce our commitment to the African Union's Agenda 2063, Sustainable Development Goals 16 & 17 17" said Moses Chasieh, Director, Salama Hub (AFSC). "The five pillars of the strategy of the ASPS offers a robust framework to tackle systemic challenges across eastern and Horn of Africa, from peacebuilding to trauma healing and reconciliation, inclusion, governance, climate and environmental justice. By fostering partnerships and amplifying our advocacy goals, we can ensure the achievement of the aspirations of Agenda 2063-through justice, equity, and sustainable peace for all."
