Horn of Africa Advocacy Strategy for Peace and Stability (2023-2033) launch in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Washington, DC (October 8, 2024) - American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) and Bread for the World are launching the Horn of Africa Advocacy Strategy for Peace and Stability (2023-2033) on Oct 16-17, 2024. The two-day event aims to introduce the five pillars of the ASPS to key stakeholders and representatives from different sectors of the African and global societies. It will be an opportunity for civil society leaders, international organizations' leaders, regional economic communities, think tanks, academics, private sector, religious organizations, and government officials from across the Horn of Africa to share their experiences and explore collaboration opportunities to achieve a just, sustainable, and peaceful region where people can live with dignity.
