Oakland Leaders Kick Off 2024 Love Life Week

Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao, Council member Carroll Fife, representatives from Council member Treva Reid's office, and city and community leaders kicked off Love Life week, a series of free events honoring those who are uplifting love and helping prevent violence in our communities.

Schedule of 2024 Love Life Week Events

Monday, Oct 14 - 11:00 AM Press Conference

Tuesday, Oct 15 - 6:00 PM Youth/Adult Town Hall Mtg with Mayor Sheng Thao and The Youth Power Zone at Fruitvale Station

Wednesday, Oct 16 - Clean Oakland Day (Residents are encouraged to get involved in cleaning their own neighborhoods)

Thursday, Oct 17 - 1 PM Feeding the Unhoused at West Grand and Brush near San Pablo Ave.

• 11:00 AM Recognizing Al Attles & the 1975 World Champion Golden State Warriors at Oakland City Hall
• 8:00 PM Oakland Symphony Kedrick Armstrong Inaugural celebrating living Jazz @40 at the Paramount Theatre

Saturday, Oct 19 - 7 PM LoveLife Comedy Show at 1701 Telegraph Ave.

Sunday, Oct 20 - 9:00 AM "A Moment of Silence for all victims of violence" - Anniversary of LoEshe's Murder
