41 hospitals in statewide network receive top honors for quality specialty care
HCA Florida Healthcare announced today 41 of its 48 hospitals earned top honors for specialty care from Healthgrades, the leading resource consumers use to find a hospital or doctor, evaluates a hospital's safety and quality of care. Facilities across the statewide network received 2025 America's Best Specialty Excellence Awards, 2025 America's Best Specialty Awards, 2025 State Awards and five-star recognition for clinical excellence based on patient outcomes. Of these, 24 hospitals were named to America's 100 Best Hospitals or America's 50 Best Hospitals for specific specialty services.
As part of its 2025 hospital assessment, Healthgrades evaluated risk-adjusted mortality and complication rates for over 30 of the most common conditions and procedures at approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide to determine the top performers in 18 specialty care areas: Cardiac Care, Cardiac Surgery, Cardiology, Coronary Interventional Procedures, Cranial Neurosurgery, Critical Care, Gastrointestinal Care, Gastrointestinal Medical, Gastrointestinal Surgery, Joint Replacement, Neurosciences, Orthopedic Surgery, Prostate Surgery, Pulmonary Care, Spine Surgery, Stroke Care, Surgical Care, and Vascular Surgery.
