Sen. Ossoff Strengthening Georgia’s Nursing Workforce

Griffin, Ga. - U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff is delivering Federal resources to train more nurses across Georgia.

Today, Sen. Ossoff announced he is delivering Federal resources to nursing training programs across the state through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).

Sen. Ossoff is delivering Federal resources to Central Georgia Technical College and Southern Crescent Technical College through HRSA's Nurse Education Practice Quality and Retention Program to strengthen their acute and long-term care nursing education programs, helping reduce the dire shortage of nurses across Georgia.

"Georgia continues to face a critical nursing shortage. Bringing Republicans and Democrats together, I'm delivering these funds to expand nurse training programs across Georgia," Sen. Ossoff said.
