Carter Joins Congressional DOGE Caucus

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Rep. Earl L. "Buddy" Carter joined the Delivering Outstanding Government Efficiency Caucus (DOGE), a new caucus highlighting the work of and coordinating with the Department of Government Efficiency to implement legislation reducing waste, fraud, and abuse.

"The American people voted for change and that is exactly what President-elect Trump is delivering with the Department of Government Efficiency," said Rep. Carter. "I am proud to join the Congressional DOGE Caucus and tackle the rampant waste, fraud, and abuse that defines our government's bureaucracy. I ran my own business for more than thirty years and learned that you need two things to be successful: excellent customer service and fiscal responsibility. Our current government has neither. It's time to change that."

President-elect Donald Trump appointed Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy to lead the newly created Department of Government Efficiency, with the goal of dismantling out-of-control government bureaucracy, slashing excess regulations, cutting wasteful expenditures, and restructuring federal agencies that have wreaked havoc on the American public.
