SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation and San Luis & Delta-Mendota Water Authority have completed negotiation of the B.F. Sisk Dam Raise and Reservoir Expansion Project Management and Cost Share Agreement. The project would raise the dam 10-feet to create an extra 130,000 feet of storage in San Luis Reservoir.
The Agreement was negotiated and completed under the Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation Act and is available for a 30-day public review and comment period. Significant provisions of the Agreement include cost sharing and space management for the Federally-funded and Authority-funded shares of the expanded reservoir.
