‘Good News’ (WT) in Production: Directed by Byun Sung hyun, Starring Sul Kyung gu, Hong Kyung, and Ryoo Seung bum

Production of the film Good News(WT) has been confirmed, directed by Byun Sung-hyun. Set in 1970, the film depicts a suspicious operation carried out by a group determined to land a hijacked airplane by any means necessary.

Good News (WT) marks the second collaboration between Director Byun Sung-hyun and Netflix, following Kill Boksoon, which premiered at the Berlinale Special section of the 2023 Berlin International Film Festival.

The film boasts both seasoned and rising cast members:

• Sul Kyung-gu (The Whirlwind) reunites with Director Byun Sung-hyun for the fourth time, following their collaborations on The Merciless, Kingmakerand Kill Boksoon. In Good News (WT), he takes on a transformative role as a mysterious fixer who shows up whenever needed to resolve problems.

• Hong Kyung (Weak Hero Class 1) takes on the role of an Air Force lieutenant involved in the secret operation, bringing both intensity and subtlety to his role.
