Smith Drive Closed at Calallen Drive

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX-Beginning the week of September 30, Smith Drive on the north side of Calallen Drive will be closed to all traffic due to installing an additional underground water transmission main line. To allow for a protected work area, the eastbound lane of Calallen Drive will also be closed on either side of Smith Drive. During the day, flaggers will be on-site to direct traffic through the single open lane.

A detailed map is attached to visually represent the road work and traffic flow adjustments.

Residents and motorists traveling through this area must follow the posted detour signs to navigate the construction zone. Detours will be clearly marked to ensure minimal disruption and maintain traffic flow.

Safety remains a top priority, and motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid delays, remain aware of the work zone, and follow posted signs.
