University Continues to Evaluate Helene Impact

September 29, 2024September 29, 2024

Clemson officials continue to assess damage and impacts related to Hurricane Helene on Sunday. While main campus has power and damage was minimal, widespread power outages continue throughout the area and the Upstate region, and downed trees block multiple roads.

Several locations across campus are open today and will be tomorrow for members of the community. Littlejohn Coliseum and the Snow Family Outdoor Fitness and Wellness Complex are open from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday and Monday with access to power, Wi-FI and a limited number of showers. Additionally, the Hendrix Student Center is open until 11 p.m. tonight.

Tomorrow's operational status will be communicated when available. The safety of our students, faculty, staff and community is our top priority. Please stay off roads unless necessary, and exercise extreme caution if you travel around the area.
