GVSU Women's Basketball advances to Division II Final Four

Grand Valley junior Nicole Kamin scored the first points of the game nearly two minutes into the first quarter. After the Golden Knights tied the game midway through the first quarter, the Lakers retook the lead and would hold onto it for the remainder of the game.

Senior Rylie Bisballe led the Lakers with 17 points and 14 rebounds. Her sister, MacKenzie Bisballe, was second on the team in scoring with nine points.

The Lakers' defense was dominant against Gannon. GVSU forced 21 turnovers with seven Lakers recording a steal, including two each from Kamin and junior Avery Zeinstra.

Grand Valley is staying in Pittsburgh for the team's matchup against Pittsburg State University at the UMPC Cooper Fieldhouse. The game can be watched on ESPN+ with a subscription or by tuning in to 106.1 FM/1340 AM on the radio.
