MONDAY, September 30
11:30 a.m. - CCAT Natural Resources & Wildfire Committee
The Board will attend the virtual Counties and Commissioners Acting Together (CCAT) 2025 Legislative Agenda meeting to discuss policy priorities for the upcoming legislative session.
6:00 p.m. - Dinner Meeting with the Southern Ute Tribal Council
The Board will meet with the Southern Ute Tribal Council to discuss items of mutual interest. The meeting will take place at the Bonny Kent Banquet Room at the Sky Ute Casino Resort, 14324 Highway 172 North in Ignacio.
TUESDAY, October 1
8:30 a.m. - Executive Session
Pursuant to Colorado Revised Statute § 24-6-402 (4), upon the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the quorum present, the La Plata County Board of County Commissioners will hold an executive session to discuss the following matters:
- For purposes of the Board receiving legal advice on specific legal questions pursuant to Colo. Rev. Stat. § 24-6-402(4)(b). Purpose: Vista Pacifica, CBOE Case No. 2024-03.
- Determining positions relative to matters that may be subject to negotiations; developing strategy for negotiations; and instructing negotiators pursuant to Colo. Rev. Stat. § 24-6-402(4)(e). Purpose: Vista Pacifica, CBOE Case No. 2024-03.
WEDNESDAY, October 2
8:30 a.m. - 2025 Budget Overview Meetings
The Board will meet with county staff to discuss the proposed 2025 County Budget.

3:30 p.m. - Durango-La Plata County Airport Phase 1B Groundbreaking Event
The Board will attend the Groundbreaking Event for Phase 1B of terminal development program at the Durango-La Plata Airport (DRO). Phase 1B will expand and modernize the terminal facilities at DRO. The airport is located at 1000 Airport Road in Durango.
